A notary public, often called a notary, is an official authorized by the state to serve as an impartial witness in the signing of important documents. Their role is to help prevent fraud and ensure that signatures are authentic and voluntary.

Key Responsibilities of a Notary:

  • Verifying Identity: Ensuring the person signing the document is who they claim to be, typically using government-issued ID.

  • Witnessing Signatures: Observing the signing of documents to confirm it is done willingly and knowingly.

  • Administering Oaths and Affirmations: Legally confirming that a person swears to tell the truth.

  • Certifying Copies of Documents: Attesting that copies of original documents are accurate.

Notaries are neutral third parties—they do not provide legal advice or prepare documents. Their role is strictly to authenticate signatures and prevent fraud.

At Rayae Notary Services LLC, we provide notarization for a wide variety of documents, including:

  • Financial and Banking Documents: Loan documents, promissory notes, and banking forms

  • Legal Documents: Powers of attorney, affidavits, contracts, and court documents

  • Healthcare Documents: Medical directives, healthcare powers of attorney, and consent forms

  • Parental and Educational Documents: Parental authorizations, school forms, and permission slips

  • Employment Documents: I-9 verification forms and other employment-related paperwork

  • Special Occasions: Wedding officiating and ceremonial documents

We also offer mobile and remote online notarization (RON) to make the process convenient and accessible wherever you are.

Identification Requirements for Notarization

To have a document notarized, you must provide a valid, government-issued photo ID that includes your full name and a photograph. Acceptable forms of identification typically include:

  • Driver’s license (state-issued)

  • Passport or passport card

  • State-issued ID card

  • Military ID

The ID must be current (not expired) and legible. Your name on the ID must match the name on the document being notarized.

For remote online notarizations (RON), additional identity verification measures may be required, such as knowledge-based authentication or credential analysis, in accordance with Florida law.

Yes, Rayae Notary Services LLC carries errors and omissions insurance to protect our clients in the unlikely event of a mistake or error during the notarization process. This coverage ensures added peace of mind and demonstrates our commitment to professionalism and accountability.

Yes — Rayae Notary Services LLC offers Remote Online Notarization (RON) under Florida law.

Here’s how it works:

  • Under Florida Statutes Chapter 117, an online notary public physically located in Florida may perform a notarization via secure audio‑video communication technology, even if the signer or witnesses are outside Florida

  • The process involves identity verification, a two‑way video connection, and a recording of the session.

  • The notary must partner with a registered RON service provider and meet security, journal, and recording standards.

Remote Online Notarization (RON) is a secure way to have your documents notarized remotely using audio-video technology. Instead of meeting in person, you connect with a commissioned Florida notary via a secure online platform.

During the RON process:

  • Your identity is verified using government-issued ID and additional authentication methods.

  • The notarization session is recorded and stored securely in compliance with Florida law.

  • The notary witnesses your electronic signatures and completes the notarization digitally.

RON provides a convenient, safe, and legally valid way to notarize documents from anywhere, saving you time while maintaining the integrity and security of the notarization.

To complete a remote notarization with Rayae Notary Services LLC, you will need:

  1. A Valid Government-Issued Photo ID – such as a driver’s license, passport, or state ID.

  2. Access to a Computer, Tablet, or Smartphone – with a reliable internet connection, camera, and microphone.

  3. The Document to Be Notarized – in electronic format (PDF or other accepted file types).

  4. Email Address – to receive instructions, confirmations, and the notarized document.

During the session, your identity will be verified online, the notarization will be performed digitally, and the session will be securely recorded in compliance with Florida law.

We offer convenient mobile notary services, traveling to your home, office, or public location to complete your notarizations.
